Car Accident

I fell asleep at the wheel driving home from work over memorial day weekend. I don't remember much about the accident. But I know I'm really fortunate that I'm still alive and didn't hurt anybody else when I crashed. I have been discharged from the hospital and am recovering from a mild concussion, dislocated shoulder, broken ribs and a punctured lung. I still weighed 189lbs upon my discharge which I'm kinda proud of but needless to say I have stopped dieting for the moment.
My days are filled with physical therapy and pain medication. I have always been the caregiver never the patient and its definitely difficult being on the other end of the spectrum. I feel so helpless. The tiniest tasks from: dressing myself, picking up my children, or even a laundry basket for that matter are now all extremely hard and painful. I 'm blessed to have a loving and helpful family and I know that, but I've always been independent and I'm used to doing things for myself. So this all really sucks!
Well I'm done babbling and feeling sorry for myself. I'll post again when I get back in the swing of things.
